Hot Chips 33 Only One Month Away!

1 minute read

The 33rd Annual Hot Chips Symposium is just a month away, and after last year’s exciting online conference with a huge international attendance, this year’s Hot Chips promises to be even better and hotter! The program committee has worked their magic to create a great agenda for us!

Our three thought-provoking keynote talks this year are:

  • “Does Artificial Intelligence Require Artificial Architects?” by Aart deGeus, the CEO of Synopsys (catch a sneak peek via Anandtech here)
  • “Skydio Autonomy Engine: Enabling the Next Generation of Autonomous Flight“, by Abraham Bachrach, CTO of Skydio an autonomous flight startup
  • “Architectural Challenges: AI Chips, Decision Support and High Performance Computing” by Dimitri Kusnezov, Deputy Under Secretary for AI and Technology, U.S. Department of Energy

The tutorial sessions on Sunday will address:

  • ML Performance and Applications
  • Advanced Packaging

Followed by an action-packed 2-day program on Monday and Tuesday, with talks covering:

  • next-gen CPUs
  • ML for cloud and edge systems
  • infrastructure processors
  • academic spin-out architectures
  • graphics and video
  • new innovations

Attendees will also be able to view 18 international posters showcasing the latest in both academic and commercial chip architecture research.

Like last year, conference attendees will be able to connect on Slack channels for Q&A and “off-line” discussion with the speakers. These discussions are a key component to Hot Chips, a platform to connect socially during the conference.
